Volunteer opportunities

1. Volunteer Coordinators

As a volunteer coordinator, you will represent CMB to talk with perspective and current users so they know about how our service works, handle passenger bookings and schedule vehicles and drivers for journeys.

You may also help to forge meaningful relationships and partnerships, and promote the work with organisations including schools, elderly homes and churches.

You will also be part of the working group to plan for new routes and further improve our existing services.

We’re looking for individuals with a strong interest in fundraising and charitable giving as well as great communication skills.

Interested parties please email info@cmbus.org.

2. Volunteer Drivers

As a volunteer driver, you will drive our vehicle professionally, picking up users from the designated location and carry them to their destination, safely and on time. You will also assist them during boarding and alighting and help securely place their luggage and shoppings.

You will need to help maintain records of usage and collect fare when needed. You will also communicate with our users, maintain good relationships with them and help create an excellent user experience.

You will help to inspect the vehicle, report defects and may, occasionally, need to carry out simple maintenance tasks and cleaning.

We’re looking for individuals who are patient, easy-going and enjoys making sure everyone enjoys a safe and comfortable journey.

If you hold a valid D1 licence, you’re more than welcome to join us! Full training and back up are given to make sure you’re able to drive our bus safely.

Interested parties please email us at info@cmbus.org.
