New 2021 service with effect from 12 April 2021

As a social enterprise, we always want to help people to start getting back out into the community. Although we’ve hibernated for months, England is starting to reopen now, and we want to offer our users the service that was pre-COVID, plus more!

With the re-opening of shops and outdoor cafes confirmed, it’s now time to escape the indoor and get some fresh air and retail therapy!

Normal service resumes on Monday 12 April 2021
& expending services into new villages!

This time, the Kettering Catcher is a FRIDAY service!

About the scheme

Free off-peak concessionary travel within shaded area.

What is our Kettering Catcher scheme?

  • Its a pre-booked minibus service for everyone who has registered with us.
  • We’re able to operate flexibly – we can operate any route within the permitted territory and are therefore able to respond quickly to passenger demand.
  • However, some services are registered as “flexible” service and do not have a fixed timetable. For example, the weekly off-peak shoppers’ trips (Service K).

We aim to solve the mobility needs of communities, reduce rural isolation and reduce the carbon footprint of passengers.

The Trial

A trial for the scheme has started on 1 October 2020, providing both a regular weekly service for Mawsley, Kettering as well as pre-booked trial trips for group travellers in the rest of the service area.

The first four-week trial will end on 22 October 2020 and stage two will follow. The Mawsley service on Thursdays will be amended so we can collect feedback and plan well for the future scheme.

Help us get the ball rolling!

We’ve written to some Parish Councils inviting them for collaboration. If you think this is an good idea and you want to have it, speak to us or tell your parish Councillors! We look forward to meeting and serving you!
