Apart from introducing “Kettering Catcher” services 78B/C to connect more communities within the Mawsley Zone, we are also operating more services in Brixworth Zone. From September, their “Shopper Hopper” service will become a weekly Monday services and they will have a fortnightly trips to a garden centre, shopping centre and so on. We’re happy to have received support from the WNC Community Grant and Northamptonshire Community Foundation for the initial operation.
Meanwhile, we are also recruiting volunteers to help with our busy services. If you know anyone who have a few hours to spare, please do encourage them to join our team! We welcome volunteer drivers, admin assistants as well as passenger assistants. Full training will be provided and volunteers will have free DBS check and reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses, including a mileage allowance if they need to drive to volunteer.
Please also note the following change of destination:
- The Wed 17 Aug trip will now go to Raunds instead of Northampton / Towcester.
Meanwhile, there are still seats available on our remaining trips in August. Feel free to book a seat and come along! Trips for September will be open for booking tomorrow (5 Aug).
